I enjoy participating in the monthly contests organized by Amy Warden at the Soap Challenge Club (https://soapchallengeclub.com/), where I have the opportunity to learn new techniques and draw inspiration for my soapmaking endeavors. In the February 2024 contest, Marina from Creamy Obsession (https://www.creamyobsession.com/) guided us through the watercolor technique using cold process soap.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been awarded the grand prize in the advanced category for this challenge. My winning creation was inspired by a captivating image of lush succulents featuring lavender and aqua hues. To enhance the visual appeal, I complemented the soap with a matching succulent soap dough. The harmonious blend of colors between the succulents, watercolor background, and soap dough resulted in a stunningly beautiful effect.
